Approaching Runham Swim North Mill
Approaching Runham Swim North Mill
Also known as Child's Mill. This brick-built and tarred tower mill was built to serve as a drainage pump. It is situated on the north bank of the River Bure, by Runham Swim, south-west of Marsh Farm. The mill appears to be in good condition. It has no sails but has retained its boat-shaped cap and there is also a fantail wheel. For some reason the mill is not marked on OS maps.
