Heckington Windmill - Great Spur Wheel
A view of the large wheel, several stone nuts can be seen. Not all power stones, some run ancillary equipment.
Heckington Windmill

The windmill is a now unique 8 sailed building from the 19th Century. Inside is a complete set of working machinery open to visitors on a regular basis. The mill is currently waiting for sail repairs and a lottery bid to buy the surrounding buildings to further develop the site.

About 30 seconds walk away is the delightful Heckington railway station complete with museum.
