Crux Easton wind engine
A 20' Simplex wind engine built in 1891-2 by John Wallis Titt of Warminster and once driving a pump and milling machinery. Restored with Lottery funding. The 5' long sails are canvas covered. It is a most impressive device and well worth a short detour off the Newbury bypass.
