Brackenfield Well Dressing 2007
Stretton Handley Primary School's contribution to the 2007 Brackenfield Well Dressing on the theme of "Famous People". The Beatrix Potter board was one of five well dressings displayed around the village of Brackenfield during the Spring Bank Holiday. This ancient Derbyshire custom originated as a pagan festival giving thanks for a clean water supply.
