SP0445 : The Simon de Montford Bridge
near to Offenham, Worcestershire, Great Britain

The Simon de Montford Bridge
With the two bridges in Evesham flooded, this bridge on the A46 Evesham by-pass provided the only crossing of the Avon for people into or out of Evesham town centre, meaning a five mile detour. Traffic came to a standstill during Saturday due to the volume of traffic using one of the few open crossings of the River Avon.
