Instow: Church Windmill
The stump of a windmill tower 150 feet up by Instow Town and the church. It may have ceased work before the 19th century. There was a second windmill in the parish, disused in 1797, at SS 474298, near Instow Quay. It had worked as a auxiliary power source in connjunction with a nearby tide mill.
