TQ3480 : Old dock entrance

Old dock entrance
It's hard to spot the old entrance to the London Dock that was opened in 1805. It was closed in the late 1960s and since then the area has become a fashionable place to live just close to Tower Bridge. The picture shows the 19th century harbour master's house and dockside offices - and the dock entrance has been filled in to provide a riverside garden.
