SP2054 : Cox's Yard
near to Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire, Great Britain

Cox's Yard
The chimney and warehouse buildings currently house a popular riverside pub and entertainment venue. This view is from the former Stratford to Moreton Tramway and the surviving buildings, formerly a timber yard, are a reminder that Stratford-upon-Avon was once an important inland port and transport interchange between the River Avon, the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal (carrying goods to and from Birmingham and the Midlands) and the aforementioned horse drawn tramway serving the Cotswolds.
Towards the right is the old ten-sided toll house at the northern end of Clopton Bridge.
