The Vulcan
The Vulcan
This is the Vulcan a dogged survivor of the developer’s avarice. However sadly it seems not for long. Due for demolition next year after a bid for “listing” failed. This classic Victorian boozer deserves to survive it is a classic of its type a link to the past in a sea of modernity. Visit LinkExternal link or better still visit the pub and order a pint of Dark while you still can. The developers can be stopped as ST1876 : The Golden Cross proves.
