TQ2879 : London Victoria Station

Westminster, City of Westminster, Great Britain

London Victoria Station
London Victoria Station
This rather splendid red brick & stone station - which reminds me a little of grand French city railway stations - dominates this part of Victoria. The lower grey stone building (see TQ2879 : Victoria Station, Terminus Place,SW1), a little of which can be seen on the left, is also part of Victoria Station and proclaims "Southern Railway" - a name which disappeared when the railways were nationalised, but has re-emerged since privatisation.
