J2743 : Finnis souterrain
near to Gransha, Ireland

Finnis souterrain
Finnis souterrain (“Binder’s Cove”) is thought to date from the 9th century and might have been used for storage or as a hiding place. The main passage runs for some 95 ft and there are two shorter side passages running to the NE. Irrespective of what the Banbridge Council website says, a notice indicates that it is only open by appointment. This link Link
provides a very clear view of the inside.
