Whilst doing a trawl online for ‘Herringfleet Hills’ I came across your pictures on the geograph website. I wonder if you are aware that the car park is now closed and the Somerleyton Estate has or is about to install pigs on the open space. Access to the Herringfleet smock mill is promised but this will not help much if there is nowhere to park along the busy road. Apparently pigs will be kept there for two years after which the Estate says they will plant wild flowers. Even if this is successful it will certainly not replace the original flora and fauna of this ancient site. I would be grateful if you would amend the details.
