Mangled remains of a footbridge
Mangled remains of a footbridge
Just beyond a kissing gate onto the common land, this curious collection of mangled metal was observed. Not too much effort is needed to deduce that this is the ruins of a footbridge - indeed a quick walk down the hill to the left of the picture and an obvious void next to a ford would be the ideal place for a footbridge.

It looks like there's recent ongoing work here and possibly a new footbridge in the near future?
