SH8725 : Llyn Lliwbran and Craig Llyn
3 km from Ty-Nant, Gwynedd, Great Britain

Llyn Lliwbran and Craig Llyn
This is at the north end of a ridge that includes Aran Benllyn and Aran Fawddwy. The glacier flowing north, carving the rock into cliffs, seems to have left behind a barrier of moraine behind which the lake formed.
A bar of cloud lay north-south and a flier trying to get to the Welsh coast had to turn back because of it.
