St Paul's Church, Kexby
The small village of Kexby on the River Derwent is thought to have been hit hard by the Black Death as the village was excused from paying about 60% of its tax quota in 1354. The early Gothic style Church of St Paul was designed by F C Penrose and consecrated in 1852. It is now closed and going through the process of redundancy.
