Pleasure cruising on the River Dart
Having travelled up stream from Dartmouth to Totnes on SX8060 : The Cardiff Castle at Totnes. we spent a leisurely, if rain soaked day in Totnes. On our return on the same boat, the largest of the River Link fleet, we passed the Dart Venturer. Much lively and derogatory banter directed at the Venturer's captain and crew was delivered over the speaker system as we passed. I expect the Venturer's passengers were entertained with commentary of a similar nature!
It must be said that the running commentary on these river trips is extremely interesting, informative and knowledgeable, expounding on the history and wildlife of the river, and not in the least intrusive either.
