This is the eastern part of the square, looking north from just to the west of Coed Duon (Black Wood), and is mainly sheep pasture and woodland. I checked with the GPS I was in the square. On the horizon is the distinctive shape of The Skirrid, to the north-east of Abergavenny.
The western part of the square is inaccessible, being taken up by a military site.
