Mapledurham Lock, Lock-keepers cabin
Every Thames lock has a cabin like this where the lock-keeper (properly called the weir-keeper) makes records of all boats passing through, and other administrative tasks. I suppose it could be called the lock office. The distances to Oxford and London are by river of course.
