NO6210 : The Fluke Dub

near to Balcomie, Fife, Great Britain

The Fluke Dub
The Fluke Dub
Assuming from its name it was a fish trap for Flukes. It certainly has been artificially enhanced with boulders cleared to the sides to provide good sand for them to hide in. Time and tide is slowly reclaiming it.
