Grand Union Canal (Slough Arm): Trout Lane bridge
Trout Lane pre-dated the 1882-built canal as an old track and it must have been incumbent on the canal's builders to sustain the right of way across their new watercourse. This presumably is the original girder and latticework bridge mounted on brick abutments on either side. Today it is only in use as a footpath crossing of the canal. This view was taken looking eastwards from the aqueduct constriction.
