This appears to be one of those footpaths that got cut in two when the A34(T) dual carriageway was built. The road is behind the trees and very busy. There is a stile in the fence there, but there are stiles all along that fence. There is also a gap in the central reservation but no yellow marker posts. I did not venture across.
