Conwy marina
Conwy marina
Conwy marina originated as the construction base for the concrete tunnel sections for the A55 Col-Con immersed tube tunnel beneath the river just to the south of here. This huge pit was dug into the coastal salt marsh, and eventually flooded so that the concrete tubes could be floated into place and sunk.
