I signed up to Geograph in Jan 2006 when searching the net for pictures of Islay before a visit. I forgot all about it until some time later and started submitting photos from Islay. My first submission was NR4369 : Port Askaig from ferry by Nick Smith on Jan 1st 2007. Got addicted and tried to populate all the green squares in my corner of Kent. I just enjoy having an excuse to explore lanes tracks and footpaths I've never been along before and taking the pictures when I do.
