Wimbledon Common is a large open space in Wimbledon, totalling 460 hectares. There are three named areas: Wimbledon Common, Putney Heath, and Putney Lower Common. Putney Lower Common is separated from the rest of the Common by about 2.4 km. Most of the common is a SSSI.
