Rye Windmill
Rye Windmill
Situated on the banks of the River Tillingham at Gibbet Marsh, the present mill was reconstructed after a fire in 1931 was caused by a baker's oven overheating. It continued as a bakery until 1976, when it became a pottery.
It is now a bed and breakfast establishment, and a local landmark.
